We've been wanting to try Himalayan curry house for quite a while and glad we finally did! We ordered the vegetable momos, chile chicken and chow mein from the Nepalese section (back of the menu) . And then the more traditional Tikka massala and garlic naan from the Indian side
All was delicious, but we really liked the unique flavors of the Nepalese dishes. Definitely go for those! Only thing we weren't crazy about were the momos. I think I expected a more potsticker like dumpling, these were softer. That's probably more on us than the dish itself.
Also saw someone complaining about the portions, they're very generous. We have enough leftovers for another dinner!
We went there for dine in and the restaurant was way busier than about a year ago. I think the food was better too.
We ordered Chicken 65, garlic Naan, Tandoori mixed and a Curry dish and they were all done well. There is some spiciness in all the dishes which we really appreciate. Service is good too.
We will be back.

They have revamped their menu a bit and the taste seems to have improved. The balti dal makhani was good and the naan this time was perfectly cooked. Do not order the lychee juice though - they might be using a canned product which isn’t good.

Went with high hopes reading the reviews but was a bit disappointed.
The Paneer Tikka appetizer was good and came out sizzling hot. But the main course was downright bad. The garlic naan was doughy and rubbery and the vindaloo (suggested by the server) was not great as well.
It is a comfortable place to dine in. The ambiance can be a little loud because of huge families dining together and having a good time but I enjoyed that. The food was good too and spicy. The service was surprisingly quick and efficient.
What an absolute diamond in the rough. Every dish was terrific and this was by far the best chicken 65 I've had in my life, and I've spent traveled all over India. While not elaborate on the inside, don't let it's humble appearance fool you, this is a must do if you're in town
This spot is EXCELLENT! Definitely in my top 10 favorite Indian restaurants in the northeast but some of the best dishes are from the Nepalese section of the menu. Don't be afraid to try and if you like lamb the Sekuwa is superb. I can't believe I'm only just getting around to leaving you folks a review!

Paneer Tikka appetizer is good. Naans and Vindaloo are terrible. And the place doesn't have a great ambience. Staff played some regional songs over a TV with a loud volume.
Any curry is served with lots of rice. So, be wary while ordering multiple curries.
Second visit: 08/06/23
Ordered Balti dal makhani, garlic naans and liche juice. Balti dal makhani is great. The curry portion size is a little less for two people as the rice is also served along with the curry. Breads are better from my previous visit but still far away from the taste and texture of authentic naans. Liche juice is bad and sugary.
Overall it was good and better than my previous visit.
Great food and great service! My wife and I stopped by today for lunch. Had Chicken Tikka, Chicken Curry, Chicken Fried Rice, and Garlic Naan – all were very delicious. Good size portions, so was able to take some leftovers home. Manager (owner?) checked on us to see how we were doing. Will be back soon – thanks!
